Durham StreetLights recently celebrated its fifth year of providing practical and emotional support to people in Durham city late at night.
The people they help varies vastly and can include reuniting friends, being a listening ear, and administering basic first aid. They're currently looking for new volunteers to help the import work they do as part of a triangle protecting the people of Durham.
The next volunteer training dates are as follows: Saturday 10th October, 10:00am - 2:00pm; Saturday 17th October, 10:00am – 3:00pm.
