At our recent Christmas Charity Brass Band concert we took up an offering to support the work of the local charity If U Care Share.
We are thrilled to announce that we are able to pass a cheque onto the charity for £1,000.
Thank you so very much for your generosity which will support their work in this very important area.
It was a packed weekend of Christmas fun and fundraising!
Our Christmas Family Fun Day was a fantastic success, and we've just heard that the Durham Christian Partnership stall raised £250 for their great work across County Durham.
Some of our young people, and youth leader Dan Baker, sell bacon sandwiches for good causes
That was followed by a bacon sandwich breakfast before church on Sunday, served for us by our young people, and raising money for good causes.
Finally, our Charity Brass Band Concert on Sunday night, featuring Aycliffe and Brancepeth Brass Band, was a fun and laughter-packed event, and raised £700 for the work if the If U Care Share Foundation.
Bring on next weekend's Christmas Family Service!
On Sunday, Rosie Porter and some friends held a bake sale in aid of the If U Care Share charity.
It raised a total of £212.77.
