Humanitarian mapping

  • The Durham Centre DH11TN (map)

To aid humanitarian work in unrepresented areas and during/following disasters around the world, maps are a vital and often missing resource.

We can practically help the Red Cross, MSF, and others, from here in Durham.
Sunday 19th November, after church (1:00-3:00pm) there will be a talk/workshop upstairs at The Durham Centre and time for us to each contribute to OpenStreetMap.

Bring lunch and your laptop, no prior map knowledge required. Under 16s welcome with supervision. Speak to Gregory Marler for questions.

Here, Greg explains the need, the opportunity and the session.
